A painting inspired by the Waterlily House at Kew Gardens in London. I was completely captivated by the way the water lilies interacted under the soft natural light of the greenhouse, and by how the composition intertwined with the surrounding plants by the pond. It is a painting about immersion in nature and its effortless beauty, about movement, and about the relationships that often go unnoticed when we are not paying close attention.
Hahnemühle Fine Art Matte archival paper (cotton, acid-free, lignin-free). Printed on Canon PIXMA PRO-200S (dye-based inks). Longevity: 40–60 years before noticeable fading when framed behind UV glass, no direct sunlight.
